Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

3 years experience as a Payroll Officer or similar role

Strong knowledge of payroll processes and tax regulations

Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Ability to handle confidential information with integrity

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Familiarity with labor laws and employment standards

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

Process payroll for all employees accurately and on time

Maintain and update payroll records and employee data

Ensure compliance with tax laws and labor regulations

Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions

Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management

Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries

Coordinate with HR and Finance departments for payroll inputs

Manage payroll software and ensure data integrity

Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and best practices

Assist with audits and financial reporting related to payroll
