The
Company Nurse, with concurrent HR Operations Coordinator responsibilities , provides onsite occupational health support, first response, and employee wellness services while maintaining accurate, timely, and confidential HR shared-service transactions.
Clinical care and emergency response are the primary accountabilities. When medical and HR administrative demands conflict, employee health and emergency response take precedence. Routine HR work must then be re-prioritized or escalated without compromising service deadlines.
The role is based in the
Human Resources Department in Legazpi City, Albay , reports to the
HR Manager / Head of Human Resources , and is a
full-time, probationary appointment progressing to regular status . The position is
100% onsite , with the schedule aligned with the highest-population office shift.
The role is treated as a
replacement/backfill and role redesign , with a recommended salary of
PHP 25,000–35,000 gross monthly basic and a target offer of
PHP 30,000 . The target start date is
September 1, 2026 , for an immediately available qualified hire, with full activation on
October 1, 2026 or once required onboarding is completed .
Scope Allocation
- Company Nursing and Occupational Health – 20%: Primary function; immediate clinical and emergency needs take priority.
- HR Operations Coordination – 80%: Shared-service and transactional support under approved templates, controls, and SLAs.
Key Responsibilities Company Nursing and Occupational Health
- Provide immediate first aid, nursing assessment, and care within the lawful scope of nursing practice; arrange physician, clinic, or hospital referral when required.
- Respond to medical emergencies, workplace injuries, and sudden illness; document incidents and coordinate escalation, transport, and follow-through under company protocol.
- Maintain the clinic, first-aid supplies, medicines, emergency equipment, and replenishment records; promptly report shortages or expired items.
- Maintain confidential occupational health and medical records separately from general personnel files, with access limited to authorized personnel.
- Coordinate annual physical examinations, pre-employment medical requirements, health surveillance, vaccination, wellness, and health-education activities.
- Review medical certificates and fit-to-work or return-to-work documents for completeness and route unclear or higher-risk cases to the company physician or appropriate provider; do not make medical diagnoses beyond RN authority.
- Participate in the Safety and Health Committee, emergency drills, incident review, and health-risk programs in coordination with the Safety Officer and management.
- Prepare and submit applicable clinic, illness, injury, and occupational health records and reports within prescribed company and regulatory timelines.
HR Operations Coordination
- Maintain accurate and current HRIS/PPH records, 201 files, trackers, and document-control logs.
- Prepare and route onboarding, regularization, employee movement, exit, Certificate of Employment, and standard benefits documents using approved templates.
- Administer timekeeping inputs, leave records, and routine benefits or HMO transactions; flag discrepancies for validation and approval.
- Maintain case calendars, hearing schedules, and evidence folders as administrative support to the HR Manager and assigned HRBP.
- Monitor service-level commitments and immediately escalate overdue, incomplete, or inconsistent submissions.
Requirements Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a current, unrestricted Philippine Registered Nurse license issued by the PRC .
- At least one year of clinical, emergency, community, or occupational-health nursing experience .
- Strong new graduates may be considered only with demonstrated first-response capability and structured supervision.
- Current Basic Life Support and first-aid certification , or the ability to secure or renew these before deployment as the designated onsite medical responder.
- Basic Occupational Health Nursing training required under applicable DOLE standards.
- A qualified RN who has not yet completed the prescribed Occupational Health Nursing training may be considered subject to completion within the allowed compliance period and company approval.
- Strong administrative accuracy, digital literacy, and proficiency in spreadsheets, HRIS, or comparable record-management systems.
- Ability to work full-time onsite and respond calmly to medical incidents while protecting employee dignity and confidentiality.
Performance Measures
- Clinical Response: 100% of medical incidents and clinic encounters documented and escalated within the same shift or required protocol.
- Clinic Readiness: No preventable stock-outs; expired items removed promptly.
- Data Quality: At least 98% accuracy for HRIS/PPH, 201 files, trackers, and source reports.
- Employee Movements: 100% of approved employee movements reflected in systems within five business days.
- Document Service: At least 95% of standard HR documents completed within the agreed SLA.
- Deadline Control: 100% of monthly reports and statutory/administrative submissions completed before the deadline.
- Quality Control: Rework or corrections caused by avoidable errors maintained below 5%.
- Escalation: Zero missed escalations involving material clinical, data, compliance, or SLA risks.
