About the Role

The HR Operations & Recruitment Coordinator will provide administrative and coordination support across HR and recruitment activities. This role is ideal for someone early in their HR career who is detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about providing excellent support to both candidates and employees.

You'll play a key role in recruitment logistics, onboarding coordination, and maintaining HR processes that keep the People & Culture function running smoothly.

Responsibilities

Recruitment Administration & Coordination

  • Coordinate interviews, assessments, and recruitment logistics across multiple stakeholders.
  • Manage candidate communication, screening schedules, and recruitment documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Assist with reference checks, job postings, and candidate follow-up.

HR Administration & Operations Support

  • Support HR documentation, filing, templates, and data entry.
  • Maintain HR trackers, logs, and employee records.
  • Assist in preparing letters, contracts, and standard HR documents.
  • Provide general HR support such as responding to administrative queries and updating forms.

Onboarding Coordination

  • Support pre-employment checks, contract issuance, and new starter documentation.
  • Coordinate onboarding schedules, welcome packs, system access requests, and onboarding logistics.
  • Track probation reviews, induction completion, and follow-up items.

General People Team Support

  • Assist with initiatives, events, learning admin, and engagement activities.
  • Work collaboratively with the Senior HR Operations Specialist and broader People & Culture team.

Competencies and Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience in HR administration, recruitment coordination, or a similar support role.
  • Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication.
  • High attention to detail, strong problem-solving ability, and a proactive working style.
  • Experience supporting fast-paced, scaling organizations preferred.
  • Experience supporting companies in Australia is a plus.
