Trident Consulting is a fast-growing, women- and minority-owned U.S.-based IT staffing and solutions firm serving Fortune 500 clients. We are looking for an experienced HR Onboarding Specialist to support onboarding and compliance for contract consultants in the U.S. staffing space.
✨ Role Overview
You will manage end-to-end onboarding of consultants placed in contract roles, ensuring a smooth, compliant, and timely experience from offer to start date.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end onboarding for contract consultants
- Coordinate background verification (BGV), documentation, and follow-ups
- Ensure compliance with U.S. labor laws, work authorization, and client requirements
- Collect and verify onboarding documents (offer letters, I-9, etc.)
- Partner with payroll and finance teams for timely setup
- Track onboarding progress and maintain accurate reports
- Act as the key liaison between recruiters, consultants, and internal teams
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in U.S. staffing onboarding (contract roles)
- Strong experience with BGV coordination and compliance
- Good understanding of documentation, payroll setup, and onboarding workflows
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
