Job Summary:
The role is responsible for managing the end-to-end process of employee separation, including but not limited to clearance management and final pay computation. In fulfilling its responsibilities, the jobholder ensures that all necessary steps are completed efficiently, effectively, in a timely manner and in accordance with legal and the Bank's existing policy.
How will you contribute:
- Establishes and oversees the process for employee separation, ensuring compliance with internal policies and labor laws.
- Leads in the end-to-end processing of separation ensuring accuracy and timely pay-out of final pay. Responsible for managing the comprehensive list of employee offboarding tasks in the separation process.
- Supervises Offboarding Officer on several key responsibilities to ensure the smooth and compliant employee separation pay processing. Provides guidance on performance management and career development matters.
- Liaises with various business units, e.g., RTC, AMRG, and external contacts, e.g., Union, House of Investment, etc, in the preparation, finalization and release of separated employees final pay.
- Responds to queries of separated employees and, as needed, coordinates with involved business units / external contacts in providing responses.
- Conducts regular review of processes and recommends changes for improvement.
- Identifies, investigates, analyzes and resolves employee separation-related issues.
- Participates in internal and external audits and ensures all related information are prepared accordingly as required
What will make you successful:
- Relevant bachelor's degree, preferably with Accounting Background
- At least three years (3) experience in handling payroll process with focus of offboarding, with at least 1 year of related experience in a supervisory capacity.
- Knowledge in Payroll process/ HR system; HR functions; statutory policies especially tax computation, government contributions and remittances
