Job Title: Human Resources Officer / HR Generalist
Reports to: CEO / COO
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Onboarding
- Manage end-to-end recruitment (job postings, screening, interviews, offers)
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes
- Prepare employment contracts, job offers, and personnel files
- Ensure smooth integration of new hires into the company
- Employee Relations & Engagement
- Serve as point of contact for employee concerns and HR inquiries
- Support performance management processes and feedback cycles
- Help foster a positive, professional, and compliant workplace culture
- Assist in handling disciplinary actions and grievance procedures
- Payroll, Attendance & Benefits
- Oversee timekeeping, attendance, and leave tracking
- Coordinate payroll inputs with finance or external providers
- Administer government-mandated benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG)
- Ensure accurate records and timely submissions
- Compliance & HR Administration
- Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws and DOLE regulations
- Maintain updated employee records and HR documentation
- Assist in drafting and enforcing company policies and memos
- Support audits, inspections, and internal HR reviews when needed
- HR Policies & Process Improvement
- Help develop and improve HR policies, SOPs, and internal guidelines
- Recommend process improvements as the company scales
- Support leadership in organizational planning and workforce needs
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- At least 13 years HR experience (startup or healthcare industry is a plus)
- Working knowledge of Philippine labor laws and HR best practices
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- High level of discretion and professionalism
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Preferred (Nice To Have)
- Experience handling both HR operations and recruitment
- Exposure to healthcare, clinical, or regulated industries
- Experience working directly with founders or senior leadership
