Overview
The HR Intern will support the People & Culture team in day-to-day HR operations, focusing on employee engagement and benefits administration. This hybrid internship provides hands-on experience in maintaining HR records and coordinating programs that enhance the employee experience.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist in the administration of employee benefits, including HMO enrollment, dependent updates, reimbursements, and other benefits-related requests.
- Maintain accurate benefits records and monitor employee benefit eligibility.
- Support the planning and execution of employee engagement activities, including birthday and work anniversary greetings, care packages, and recognition programs.
- Coordinate communications, logistics, and tracking for employee engagement initiatives.
- Maintain and update HR databases, employee directories, trackers, and documentation to ensure data accuracy.
- Assist in preparing reports, monitoring sheets, and HR-related documentation.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to support HR activities, employee requests, and administrative requirements.
- Follow up on pending items and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Contribute ideas to improve HR processes, employee experience, and administrative workflows.
- Support ad hoc HR projects and initiatives as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous internship experience in HR or a related field.
- Familiarity with HR software and databases.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
