Job Description

The HR OJT/Intern assists the Human Resources Department in various administrative and HR-related functions. The trainee will gain hands-on experience in recruitment, employee records management, timekeeping, employee engagement, and other HR operations while supporting the department's daily activities.

Duties and Responsibilities

Recruitment and Hiring Support

  • Assist in posting job vacancies on recruitment platforms.
  • Screen resumes and organize applicant records.
  • Schedule interviews and coordinate with applicants.
  • Assist in onboarding and orientation activities for new hires.

Employee Records Management

  • Organize and maintain employee 201 files and HR documents.
  • Update employee databases and personnel records.
  • Ensure proper filing and confidentiality of employee information.

Timekeeping and Attendance

  • Assist in monitoring employee attendance and leave records.
  • Help verify timekeeping reports and attendance discrepancies.
  • Support payroll-related documentation requirements.

Administrative Support

  • Prepare HR forms, memoranda, notices, and reports.
  • Assist in data encoding and document processing.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing HR correspondence.

Employee Relations and Engagement

  • Assist in organizing company events, employee activities, and programs.
  • Support employee communication initiatives.
  • Help in preparing materials for training and development activities.

Compliance and Documentation

  • Assist in ensuring compliance with company policies and labor regulations.
  • Help prepare reports and documentation for government-mandated requirements.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related courses.
  • Required by the school to undergo OJT/Internship.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality of HR information.
