The HR OJT/Intern assists the Human Resources Department in various administrative and HR-related functions. The trainee will gain hands-on experience in recruitment, employee records management, timekeeping, employee engagement, and other HR operations while supporting the department's daily activities.
Duties and Responsibilities
Recruitment and Hiring Support
- Assist in posting job vacancies on recruitment platforms.
- Screen resumes and organize applicant records.
- Schedule interviews and coordinate with applicants.
- Assist in onboarding and orientation activities for new hires.
Employee Records Management
- Organize and maintain employee 201 files and HR documents.
- Update employee databases and personnel records.
- Ensure proper filing and confidentiality of employee information.
Timekeeping and Attendance
- Assist in monitoring employee attendance and leave records.
- Help verify timekeeping reports and attendance discrepancies.
- Support payroll-related documentation requirements.
Administrative Support
- Prepare HR forms, memoranda, notices, and reports.
- Assist in data encoding and document processing.
- Manage incoming and outgoing HR correspondence.
Employee Relations and Engagement
- Assist in organizing company events, employee activities, and programs.
- Support employee communication initiatives.
- Help in preparing materials for training and development activities.
Compliance and Documentation
- Assist in ensuring compliance with company policies and labor regulations.
- Help prepare reports and documentation for government-mandated requirements.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related courses.
- Required by the school to undergo OJT/Internship.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
- Able to maintain confidentiality of HR information.
