Your Role

The HR Governance & Employee Relations Officer is responsible for ensuring that the organization's HR practices, policies, and employee-related processes comply with Philippine labor laws, government regulations, and internal company standards. The role supports HR governance, compliance audits, employee relations processes, policy implementation, and risk mitigation initiatives.

This position partners closely with HR leaders, business stakeholders, and employees to promote consistent application of policies, strengthen HR processes, and ensure a compliant and positive employee experience.

Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities

The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for the following across Microsourcing Philippines, Inc.

  • Labor Law & HR Compliance Management
  • Ensure compliance with Philippine Labor Laws, DOLE regulations, and other applicable government requirements.
  • Monitor regulatory updates and assess potential impact on HR policies and processes.
  • Provide guidance to HR teams and business leaders on labor compliance matters.
  • Review HR practices to ensure alignment with legal requirements and company standards.
  • HR Audit & Governance
  • Conduct regular audits of HR processes, documentation, and employee records.
  • Identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  • Develop compliance trackers, reports, and dashboards for HR leadership.
  • Support internal and external audits related to HR operations.
  • Employee Relations & Case Management Support
  • Support employee relations activities by ensuring proper documentation and compliance with due process.
  • Assist in investigation, documentation, and resolution of employee concerns.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and leaders on employee relations matters.
  • Policy Development & Implementation
  • Review, update, and maintain HR policies, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Ensure policies are properly communicated and consistently implemented across the organization.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and compliance practices.
  • Government & Statutory Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with mandatory government requirements including:
    • DOLE requirements
    • SSS
    • PhilHealth
    • Pag-IBIG
  • Other applicable labor-related reports
  • Maintain accurate compliance records and documentation.
  • Training & Compliance Awareness
  • Conduct HR compliance orientations and policy awareness sessions.
  • Support managers and employees in understanding HR policies and labor requirements.
  • Promote a culture of accountability and compliance.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Legal Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years HR experience, preferably with exposure to:
    • Employee Relations
    • Labor Relations
    • HR Audit
    • HR Operations
    • Policy Development
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine Labor Laws and DOLE regulations.
  • Experience handling employee cases and HR documentation.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret policies, identify risks, and recommend solutions.
