HR Generalist - PART TIME ROLE
About This Role:
Insight Global is excited to hire a part-time HR Generalist to support and strengthen our growing operations in the Philippines. This role will serve as the primary local HR partner for our Health staffing and education division and will also provide coordinated HR support to our international staffing consultants across APAC as needed.
Reporting to the Director of International HR, this individual will play a critical role in ensuring compliant, well-documented, and values-aligned HR processes. You will support HR operations, reporting, compliance, government filings and ESG-related initiatives while collaborating with HR, Operations, Legal and other cross-functional teams. This position is ideal for someone who is early in their HR career but demonstrates strong independence, initiative and ownership, and has a strong foundation of employment legislation in the Philippines. This role will require consistent overlap with EST hours.
What You'll Do:
•Provide day-to-day HR support for nurse educators, CQRM, corporate teams, and additional APAC consultants, ensuring consistent, compliant, and people-focused HR practices
•Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, including Welcome Week orientations, system access, and required documentation
•Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and HR documentation in alignment with Philippine labor laws and company policies
•Ensure ongoing compliance with local labor regulations, reporting requirements, and Insight Global policies
•Lead and manage statutory government filings and submissions, including SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, DOLE, and BIR requirements
•Administer statutory contributions and loan processing for SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG, and coordinate BIR-related documentation
•Create and maintain country-specific HR compliance calendars and SOPs for Philippines operations
•Manage end-to-end payroll processing cycles, ensuring accurate computation of salaries, premiums, bonuses, deductions, benefits, and final pay
•Validate timekeeping, overtime, leave balances, and attendance data in coordination with managers and operations teams
•Resolve payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies promptly while maintaining strict confidentiality
•Maintain accurate payroll data in HRIS and spreadsheets, and generate payroll, variance, and compliance reports for HR and Finance
•Support performance management processes, including annual and quarterly review cycles and performance documentation
•Facilitate exit interview surveys, analyze trends, and escalate insights to HR leadership
•Design, coordinate, and execute employee engagement initiatives, including recognition programs, wellness activities, CSR events, and culture-building campaigns
•Track engagement metrics and partner with HR leadership on continuous improvement initiatives
•Support employee relations matters by documenting concerns, escalating issues appropriately, and partnering with leadership on resolution
•Participate in and help manage the Philippine Sexual Harassment / Safe Spaces Committee, including documentation, investigation support, and legally mandated reporting
•Collaborate with Payroll, Legal, Talent Acquisition, CQRM Operations, Finance, and Global Operations on HR-related matters
•Partner with the international HR team on global initiatives, workflow standardization, and policy alignment
•Prepare HR reports, including headcount summaries and ad hoc operational reporting
•Perform other HR duties as the business evolves, including special projects and cross-regional support
Note: This role may transition into a full-time position in the future depending on business needs, operational growth and personal performance
What You'll Need to Succeed:
•Strong knowledge of Philippine labor law, HR compliance, and government reporting
•Working knowledge of Philippine payroll fundamentals (timekeeping validation, statutory contributions, BIR coordination) and data accuracy discipline
•Ability to design/execute engagement programs and translate survey insights in practical actions with leaders
•Proficiency using HRIS and spreadsheets (Excel/AirTable) for payroll, reporting, and engagement metrics
•Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
•Strong organization skills with high attention to detail and reliability
•Excellent communication skills and cultural awareness across global teams
•Comfortable navigating ambiguity and shifting business needs
•Proactive, solutions-oriented, and people-focused mindset
•Highly self-motivated, with the ability to operate with discretion, confidentiality and integrity
•Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and support geographically dispersed teams
Must Haves:
•Experience in HR coordination, HR operations or a similar role
•Hands-on experience in Philippine payroll administration (or strong willingness to learn)
•Experience supporting or executing employee engagement initiatives (events, recognition, onboarding touchpoints, surveys)
•Comfortable using HRIS/timekeeping tools and spreadsheet formulas to validate data and produce accurate reports
•Demonstrated ability to produce reports, track compliance, and manage documentation accurately
•Exposure to international HR processes or multi-country support (or a strong willingness to learn)
•This role will require an in-office presence and will typically work 12pm – 11pm PHT to ensure consistent overlap with EST business hours
