We are currently looking for a Human Resources Consultant. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who wishes to step into an operational and people-focused role with an emphasis on fostering strong relationships, developing functional accountabilities and strategies, and championing Jacobs culture and commitment to inclusion.

The HR Consultant plays a key role in enhancing the overall employee experience by managing, tracking, and executing initiatives that promote a positive and engaging workplace. The incumbent will support the implementation of HR policies, coordinate HR programs, and provide guidance to employees and managers on various HR related matters.

Your key areas of responsibility include

  • Working closely with business operations and supporting the Human Resources team in ensuring smooth and efficient processes across onboarding, employee customer service, and HR administration.
  • Processing essential HR documents related to employee benefitsincluding mandatory government benefitswellness programs, onboarding requirements, conduct exit interview, and other administrative needs. This includes maintaining accurate employee records, 201 files, and HR databases.
  • Monitoring temporary local assignments, fixed term contract updates, and other HR administrative concerns to ensure proper documentation, alignment with internal guidelines, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensuring that all HR processes align with company policies and adhere to labor regulations, including compliance with mandatory monthly and annual reportorial requirements such as SSS, PhilHealth, and DOLE submissions.
  • Collaborating closely with various HR teamsincluding GBSalong with Project Managers, Finance, Talent Acquisition, and other functional partners to ensure seamless operational support and a consistent employee experience.
  • Actively participating in operational meetings to proactively address HR matters and educate stakeholders on HR policies, processes, and systems.
  • Performing additional duties as required, based on business needs and direction from leadership.

Here's what you'll need

  • The ideal candidate has 510 years of experience in an HR Operations role, with a solid foundation in strategic HR practices and strong alignment with business needs.
  • The candidate should demonstrate expertise across core HR functional areas, particularly in HR administration and employee relations.
  • A strong understanding of HR programs and practices is required, along with proven analytical thinking, problem solving skills, and sound decision making capability.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for engaging with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
