About the Role

As a regional HR Business Partner, you will play a critical role in aligning HR strategies with business objectives, supporting regional leaders and employees, and fostering a high-performance culture across both markets. You will work closely with country leadership, people managers, and global HR teams to deliver value-added services that drive business growth, robust talent pipelines, and deep employee engagement.

This role requires proactive collaboration, strong business acumen, and a unique combination of strategic HR partnership, talent acquisition, and hands-on regional HR operations. You will serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders on all people-related matters while ensuring compliance with local labor laws and company policies across the Philippines, Vietnam, and other Southeast Asian markets as the business expands.

What You'll Do:

Strategic HR Partnership

  • Partner with regional business leaders to understand organizational goals and provide localized HR solutions that enable business success across both countries.
  • Drive regional workforce planning, talent strategy, and organizational development initiatives to support market expansion and scaling.

Talent Acquisition

  • Lead the end-to-end recruitment cycle for all positions in the Philippines and Vietnam, from sourcing and screening to offer negotiation and onboarding.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of local talent through targeted sourcing strategies, networking, and employer branding initiatives.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define role requirements, establish efficient interview processes, and ensure a high-quality candidate experience.
  • Manage local job boards, recruitment platforms, and external staffing agencies where necessary.

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations in both markets, providing fair and consistent guidance on workplace concerns.
  • Design and execute tailored employee engagement programs that strengthen culture, morale, and retention while respecting local cultural nuances.
  • Conduct regular check-ins and pulse surveys to capture regional employee sentiment and recommend data-driven action plans.

Talent Management & Development

  • Support the localized performance management cycle, ensuring managers provide constructive feedback, clear KPIs, and actionable development plans.
  • Identify regional training needs and partner with the global Learning & Development team to deliver capability-building programs.
  • Facilitate career progression discussions, internal mobility, and succession planning with leadership.
  • Advise managers on localized salary reviews, market benchmarking, promotions, and recognition programs.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure all HR and recruitment practices comply strictly with both Philippine and Vietnamese labor laws, statutory benefits, and regulations.
  • Manage regional employee documentation, employment contracts, and localized HR records in accordance with legal requirements and company data policies.

HR Operations & Collaboration

  • Partner with global HR centers of excellence (C&B, L&D, HR Operations) to effectively localize and execute corporate initiatives.
  • Lead cross-border HR projects and initiatives that improve organizational effectiveness and team collaboration.
  • Provide regional HR metrics, tracking, and talent analytics to leadership for data-driven decision-making.

What We're Looking For:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with a proven track record of balancing both HR Business Partnering and full-cycle Talent Acquisition/Recruitment.
  • Regional Scope: Experience managing HR operations or recruitment in both the Philippines and Vietnam (or a cross-border regional setup within Southeast Asia) is highly preferred.
  • Legal & Compliance Expertise: Strong, up-to-date knowledge of the Philippine Labor Code; familiarity with the Vietnam Labor Code and regional statutory compliance is a major asset.
  • Recruitment Skillset: Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), modern sourcing techniques, and navigating local talent channels (e.g., Jobstreet, LinkedIn Recruiter).
  • Communication & Language: Professional fluency in written and spoken English is required to collaborate across regional teams. (Knowledge of Vietnamese is a significant plus but not mandatory).
  • Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence leaders, manage remote teams, and navigate diverse cultural nuances.
  • Traits: Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to HR metrics; highly adaptable, resourceful, and capable of thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
