What You'll Do
- Act as a trusted HR advisor to clients and internal stakeholders on a range of people-related matters, providing practical and commercially appropriate guidance.
- Provide guidance on employment practices, workplace policies, performance management, attendance, conduct, leave, and other employee-related matters.
- Support clients in understanding applicable employment requirements and translating HR considerations into practical business actions.
- Partner with Account Management and other internal teams to assess client concerns, provide recommendations, and determine appropriate next steps.
- Work closely with internal HR specialists and relevant stakeholders on employee relations matters, ensuring appropriate escalation, documentation, and follow-through.
- Engage with employees or other stakeholders where required to support HR processes, gather information, or facilitate resolution.
- Maintain awareness of relevant employment legislation, regulatory developments, and HR best practices, proactively identifying potential risks and opportunities.
- Develop and improve HR resources, guidance materials, and client education initiatives to promote consistent and effective people management practices.
Key Criteria
- At least 5 years of experience in HR, with strong experience in HR Business Partnering, HR Advisory, Employee Relations, or a similar role.
- Strong working knowledge of local employment legislation, regulations, and HR practices.
- Experience providing HR advice to business leaders, managers, clients, or other senior stakeholders.
- Strong client-service and commercial mindset, with the ability to balance stakeholder needs with compliance and organisational requirements.
- Ability to translate complex HR and employment requirements into clear, practical, and business-focused recommendations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and external clients.
- Strong judgement and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risk, recommend appropriate actions, and identify when specialist support is required.
- Highly organised with strong documentation, follow-up, and case-management skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgement.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable working with HR systems and documentation.
Work Setup: Manila
- (BGC, Taguig): Fully onsite during probation, then shifting to 3x a week upon regularization.
