Job Title: HR Business Partner - DHL Global Service Center (Manila)
Role Purpose
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) at DHL GSC Manila is a strategic and execution-focused role that partners with senior leaders to drive workforce effectiveness in a high-volume, fast-paced global services environment.
This role goes beyond traditional HR support. The HRBP is expected to:
- Influence business outcomes
- Use employee data aggressively to predict risks and opportunities
- Reimagine benefits and employee value propositions for a shared services wor kforce
- Leverage automation, AI, and analytics to remove manual HR work
Key Accountabilities
Business Partnering (Core Focus)
- Act as a trusted advisor to functional leaders across DHL GSC Manila (Operations, Finance, IT, HR, and other support functions).
- Translate business strategy into workforce plans that balance productivity, talent availability, cost, and employee experience.
- Coach leaders to manage performance, engagement, and employee relations confidently and consistently.
- Lead people impact assessments for business changes such as scope migration, automation, restructuring, or scale-down/ scale-up activities.
- Proactively identify people risks (attrition spikes, capability gaps, leadership weaknesses) and address them before they impact service delivery.
- Influence leaders using facts, not opinions, even when conversations are uncomfortable.
Employee Data, Analytics & Workforce Intelligence
- Own the quality, accuracy, and usability of employee data for assigned populations.
- Move beyond reporting to produce predictive insights (e.g. attrition risk, skills obsolescence, benefits utilization, leadership pipeline health).
- Partner with HRIS, Finance, and GSC analytics teams to automate dashboards and standard reports.
- Use data to simplify decision-making for leaders, not overwhelm them with metrics.
- Challenge decisions that are not supported by data or that ignore workforce realities.
- Serve as a role model for evidence-based HR in the GSC.
- Experiment with AI tools to detect workforce patterns earlier (e.g. early attrition signals, engagement sentiment, absenteeism trends).
- Automate at least one recurring HR decision or report per year.
Employee Benefits & Total Rewards Experience- Manage and continuously improve employee benefits programs relevant to a Manila-based shared services population.
- Ensure benefits are competitive, clearly communicated, and aligned with employee needs across different life stages.
- Partner with vendors, brokers, and internal stakeholders to improve benefits value while managing cost.
- Act as escalation point for complex benefits cases and policy interpretation.
- Use benefits data and employee feedback to redesign offerings, not simply renew them annually.
- Support benefits education initiatives that help employees understand and appreciate their total rewards.
- Redesign at least one benefits process or offering to be more digital, self-service, or data-driven every cycle.

Required Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field
- Minimum 5-7 years of HR experience, ideally in a shared services, BPO, or global organization
- Proven experience in HR Business Partnering with senior leaders
- Strong exposure to workforce data, metrics, and HR systems
- Working knowledge of employee benefits administration in the Philippines
