Champion Employee Relations in a High-Performing BPO Environment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years of HR Business Partner experience within a BPO or shared services environment is required
  • Strong background in employee relations, employee engagement, and stakeholder management
  • Proven experience handling end-to-end labor relations, including DOLE cases, administrative hearings, employee discipline, investigations, and case resolution
  • Hands-on experience managing employee grievances, disciplinary actions, documentation, recommendations, and case closure
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws, DOLE regulations, performance management, organizational development, and HR policies
  • Experience supporting operational leaders with workforce planning, talent management, and organizational change initiatives
  • Proven ability to lead HR projects and deliver people-focused programs in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, coaching, conflict resolution, and relationship-building skills
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and sound judgment
  • Willing to work onsite in Makati or Ortigas on a night shift schedule

Responsibilities

Business Partnership

  • Build trusted stakeholder relationships through responsive, timely, and collaborative HR support
  • Provide HR policy guidance, interpretation, and consultation to management
  • Analyze HR trends and metrics to recommend people solutions, programs, and policy improvements
  • Advise on workforce planning, organizational structures, succession planning, and emerging HR needs

Employee Relations, Engagement, and Retention

  • Address employee concerns promptly and provide fair, appropriate, and well-documented resolutions
  • Foster positive work relationships, employee morale, productivity, engagement, and retention
  • Lead employee engagement, rewards, and recognition initiatives
  • Conduct one-on-one meetings, focus group discussions (FGDs), and employee touchpoints, and prepare reports with insights and action plans
  • Conduct exit interviews and submit findings to the Immediate Superior and Business Unit Head

Performance Management

  • Facilitate probationary and annual performance reviews
  • Manage employee movements, including status changes, promotions, merit increases, and salary reviews
  • Provide performance guidance through coaching, counseling, and Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs)

Career Management and Learning & Development

  • Facilitate career development discussions with employees
  • Identify future leaders and support talent development initiatives
  • Partner with Learning and Development to assess business unit and individual training needs
  • Monitor training effectiveness and ensure learning objectives are achieved

Employee Discipline

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and mitigate legal risks in disciplinary matters
  • Consult HR Leaders on disciplinary actions and enforce company policies, including the Code of Conduct
  • Conduct discipline management learning sessions and awareness roadshows
  • Investigate, manage, and resolve complex disciplinary cases

Compliance and Occupational Safety & Health

  • Implement, maintain, and inspect workplace health and safety standards in partnership with Facilities and Administration
  • Provide safety guidance, monitoring, reporting, and employee engagement initiatives
  • Support workplace safety programs and training activities
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations, including DOLE, PEZA, and BOI requirements

Other Responsibilities

  • Perform administrative, non-administrative, and other assigned duties as required
  • Comply with instructions from authorized company representatives
