The HR Business Analyst is responsible for identifying business challenges within the HR function and solving them through data-driven insights. You will analyze workforce trends, optimize HR systems (HRIS), and create reports that help leadership make informed decisions regarding talent management and organizational health.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Design and maintain HR dashboards (using Power BI or Tableau) to track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) like turnover rates, time-to-hire, and diversity metrics.
- Process Optimization: Audit current HR workflows (onboarding, payroll, performance reviews) to identify inefficiencies and recommend automated solutions.
- HRIS Management: Act as the functional expert for the Human Resources Information System (HRIS), ensuring data integrity and leading system upgrades or migrations.
- Workforce Planning: Partner with Finance and Department Heads to forecast future staffing needs and budget requirements based on historical data.
- Strategic Insight: Translate complex data sets into plain English stories for senior leadership to drive policy changes or culture initiatives.
- Compliance & Audit: Ensure all HR data handling complies with local labor laws and data privacy regulations (e.g., Data Privacy Act of 2012).
