Job Summary
The HR Assistant supports the Human Resources group in handling compensation and benefits administration, timekeeping, payroll-related concerns, and other HR functions. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality while assisting employees and supporting daily HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the administration of compensation and benefits programs
- Monitor employee attendance, leaves, and timekeeping records
- Prepare and maintain HR and payroll-related documents and reports
- Coordinate with employees regarding benefits enrollment, government-mandated contributions, and HR concerns
- Assist in payroll preparation by validating attendance and leave records
- Maintain and update employee 201 files and HR databases
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement activities
- Assist in implementing HR policies and procedures
- Handle other HR and administrative tasks as assigned
- Proficient in using Canva for HR activities pubmat
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field
- With experience in compensation and benefits, payroll, or timekeeping is an advantage
- Knowledge of labor laws and government-mandated benefits is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle confidential information
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
