The HR Assistant – Employee Relations supports the implementation of employee relations programs and initiatives to promote a positive, engaged, and harmonious workplace. The role assists in handling employee grievances and concerns, coordinating investigations and disciplinary processes, maintaining employee relations records, and facilitating employee engagement activities. The position also supports HR policies, communication initiatives, and programs that strengthen employee morale, workplace relationships, and overall employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, document, and assist in addressing employee concerns, grievances, and workplace issues.
  • Assist in employee relations investigations and preparation of necessary documentation.
  • Support the implementation of disciplinary and corrective action processes in accordance with company policies.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee relations records and case documentation.
  • Assist in facilitating employee engagement activities, programs, and initiatives.
  • Conduct employee feedback gathering and assist in identifying engagement concerns.
  • Support HR communication and awareness campaigns on company policies and programs.
  • Coordinate with supervisors and managers regarding employee relations concerns.
  • Monitor and prepare reports on employee relations cases, engagement activities, and relevant HR metrics.
  • Assist in promoting a positive workplace culture and harmonious employee-management relationships.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in HR, preferably in Employee Relations.
  • Knowledge of employee relations, grievance handling, disciplinary procedures, and basic labor standards.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Good documentation and report-writing skills.
  • High level of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism.
  • Strong organizational and follow-through skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience in organizing employee engagement activities is an advantage.
  • Willing to work on-site and support HR activities and employee concerns as needed.
