Job Description

The HR Assistant/Associate for Compensation and Benefits is responsible for designing, evaluating, and managing a company's employee compensation and benefits programs to ensure they are competitive, fair, and aligned with company goals. They also assist in implementing compensation, benefits, and general HR policies.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must have a bachelor's degree
  • Must have at least 5 years of experience in payroll processing, compensation and benefits administration, and policy making in a unionized environment
  • Familiar with SAP-HCM and SuccessFactors (SF), and has a keen interest in HR technology and systems
  • Has above-average written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrates adequate creative and analytical skills

Job Overview:

  • Review, update, and maintenance of compensation, benefits, and general HR policies
  • Development of new compensation, benefits, and general HR policies
  • Review of proposed CBA packages
