We're currently looking for a skilled HR/Admin Officer to join our Cebu team. This role is essential in supporting both our people and operations, ensuring a compliant and thriving work environment.

Role Overview

  • The HR/Admin Officer will play a pivotal role in managing key HR and administrative functions, helping to drive organizational success.
  • This position involves handling employee relations, recruitment, compliance, and office management. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • This is a full Work-from-Office (WFO) role to facilitate office attendance monitoring and operations oversight.
  • As the HR/Admin Officer, you are expected to exemplify professionalism by maintaining punctuality and strictly adhering to HR policies. You should set a positive example for the team by consistently following company attendance guidelines

Key Responsibilities

Hurman Resource & Compliance:

  • Address employee concerns and inquiries, fostering a positive work environment and ensuring clarity on company policies.
  • Support recruitment and onboarding, assisting in talent acquisition and maintaining accurate job descriptions.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies, handle basic compliance tasks, monitor government mandates, and assist with disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Oversee timely and accurate remittance of statutory contributions and manage all government-related HR requirements.
  • Assist with payroll data entry, timekeeping, and addressing payroll inquiries while maintaining strict confidentiality.
  • Manage employee exits, including conducting offboarding processes, handling necessary documentation, and ensuring terminations are carried out professionally and in compliance with labor laws.
  • Strictly adhere to company attendance and leave policies, ensuring that all personal absences are properly applied for in advance whenever possible.
  • Enforce office attendance policies, verify employee attendance (WFO/WFH), and escalate non-compliance when necessary.

Administrative & Office Management

  • Ensure the office is well-maintained, organized, and fully operational by overseeing office upkeep, cleanliness, and equipment functionality.
  • Monitor and manage office supplies, ensuring timely replenishment to prevent shortages.
  • Assist in the planning, scheduling, and logistical arrangements for company meetings, training sessions, and events.
  • Organize and maintain company records, employee files, and administrative documents to ensure accessibility and compliance with data management policies.
  • Ensure adherence to workplace safety protocols, coordinate security measures, and report any safety concerns.
  • Liaise with office vendors, suppliers, and service providers for facility-related needs, ensuring contracts and payments are managed efficiently.
  • Handle external administrative tasks such as government-related document submissions, banking transactions, procurement of office necessities, or coordinating with external agencies.
  • Provide general administrative support to management and employees, including handling correspondence, preparing reports, and managing travel arrangements when required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Administration, HR Management, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of core HR functions, Philippine labor laws, and compliance standards; familiarity with National Wage guidelines is a plus.
  • Proven experience in HR operations with a good grasp of HR best practices.
  • Proficient in interpersonal and English communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with staff at all levels.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to assist in coordinating company events and meetings.
  • Able to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
