Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Housekeeping Supervisor role based in Makati. The Housekeeping Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring guest rooms and public areas meet Seda's cleanliness and presentation standards. The role includes assigning and monitoring the work of room attendants, conducting room inspections, and coordinating with front office, maintenance, and laundry to address guest requests and turnover needs promptly. The Housekeeping Supervisor will also manage inventory of linens, amenities, and cleaning supplies, train and evaluate staff performance, and enforce proper handling of lost and found items. The position requires adherence to Seda's service standards, including upholding safety, security, and confidentiality protocols at all times.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrates strong leadership and people-management skills, with the ability to supervise, motivate, and hold room attendants accountable while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail in a luxury hospitality environment.
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in housekeeping operations within a luxury hotel, serviced residence, or equivalent high-end property, with prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • Proven experience in room inspection, quality control, and standards compliance, with a strong eye for cleanliness, presentation, and guest room readiness.
  • Proficient in housekeeping administration, including scheduling, inventory management, and coordination with front office and maintenance teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Filipino is required for coordinating with staff and reporting to management.
  • Strong ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, with excellent time management, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with hotel Property Management Systems, particularly Opera Cloud, is a strong advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree or vocational certificate in Hospitality Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related field.
