Primary Objective Of The Position

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensure high standards of cleanliness, and manage a team of housekeeping staff. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a commitment to excellence, and the ability to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests or residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervises and coordinates the activities of the housekeeping team, including room and public attendants
  • Inspects rooms, public areas, and facilities to ensure cleanliness and adherence to the Hotel's standards
  • Trains new team members and provides refresher to existing attendants on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and company policies
  • Maintains inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Schedules staff shifts and assign duties to ensure efficient coverage
  • Addresses guest or resident complaints and resolve issues promptly
  • Prepares reports on housekeeping performance and occupancy status

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree holder
  • Proven experience in housekeeping operations, preferably in a supervisory role
  • Experience in hotel, or resort housekeeping and knowledge of housekeeping software or property management systems are advantage
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and supplies
  • Basic computer skills for scheduling and reporting
