Primary Objective Of The Position
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensure high standards of cleanliness, and manage a team of housekeeping staff. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a commitment to excellence, and the ability to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests or residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervises and coordinates the activities of the housekeeping team, including room and public attendants
- Inspects rooms, public areas, and facilities to ensure cleanliness and adherence to the Hotel's standards
- Trains new team members and provides refresher to existing attendants on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and company policies
- Maintains inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Schedules staff shifts and assign duties to ensure efficient coverage
- Addresses guest or resident complaints and resolve issues promptly
- Prepares reports on housekeeping performance and occupancy status
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree holder
- Proven experience in housekeeping operations, preferably in a supervisory role
- Experience in hotel, or resort housekeeping and knowledge of housekeeping software or property management systems are advantage
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Basic computer skills for scheduling and reporting
