Primary Objective Of The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensure high standards of cleanliness, and manage a team of housekeeping staff. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a commitment to excellence, and the ability to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests or residents.

Key Responsibilities

Supervises and coordinates the activities of the housekeeping team, including room and public attendants
Inspects rooms, public areas, and facilities to ensure cleanliness and adherence to the Hotel's standards
Trains new team members and provides refresher to existing attendants on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and company policies
Maintains inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
Schedules staff shifts and assign duties to ensure efficient coverage
Addresses guest or resident complaints and resolve issues promptly
Prepares reports on housekeeping performance and occupancy status

Requirements

Bachelor's degree holder
Proven experience in housekeeping operations, preferably in a supervisory role
Experience in hotel, or resort housekeeping and knowledge of housekeeping software or property management systems are advantage
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to lead and motivate a team
Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and supplies
Basic computer skills for scheduling and reporting
