Job Description

The Hotel Sales Manager – China will be entrusted with the comprehensive responsibility of achieving defined sales targets and revenue objectives within the Chinese market. This role demands a strategic and results-oriented individual who can ensure the company attains and sustains a competitive market share, while optimizing profitability and long-term business viability.

  • Manage the entire sales cycle—from lead generation and customer engagement to negotiation and closing
  • Conduct frequent in-person sales visits, execute targeted telemarketing campaigns, and plan strategic business trips across China, particularly in Shanghai and Guangzhou
  • Elevate brand visibility, network with key stakeholders, and stay abreast of market trends and competitor activities
  • Collaborate with the local Sales & Marketing team and all on-site Operations teams to ensure a cohesive approach to market demands and customer satisfaction
  • Refine business strategies that enhance operational efficiency and drive sustained revenue growth in China

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Restaurant Management, Tourism, Business Studies, Sales Administration, Marketing, or any related field
  • Over 2 years of managerial-level experience in the hospitality/tourism industry, with a strong focus on sales and marketing functions within hotel operations
  • Extensive knowledge of both corporate and leisure travel segments in China, with a deep understanding of market trends, client behavior, and strategic partnerships
  • Proven success in driving revenue growth and surpassing business objectives, including expanding market share, increasing direct bookings, and securing key accounts
  • Chinese national based in the Philippines, with fluent Mandarin and English communication skills
  • Must be willing to travel frequently to China, particularly Shanghai and Guangzhou, for business development and client visits
  • Strong understanding of the Chinese market, with an established network or business relationships within the China travel and hospitality industry preferred
