The Hospital Auditor is responsible for examining and evaluating the hospital's financial records, transactions, and internal control systems to ensure accuracy, compliance, and transparency. The role focuses on identifying financial risks, verifying the authenticity of transactions and documentation, and ensuring that financial processes follow established policies and regulations. The auditor also prepares reports with findings and recommendations to help management strengthen financial controls and improve operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Conduct audits of financial records, internal controls, and transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare audit reports highlighting findings, risks, and recommendations.
- Review cash vouchers, billing, inventory, and receipts for proper authorization and authenticity.
- Identify discrepancies, irregularities, and potential fraud or overpricing.
- Perform follow-up audits to ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Collaborate with management to improve financial processes and controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- 25 years of auditing experience (internal or external), preferably in a healthcare or hospital setting.
- Strong understanding of audit principles, financial regulations, and risk management.
- Proficient in data analysis, reporting, and relevant software systems.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, with integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
- Willing to travel to Valenzuela and Antipolo for audit tasks.
