Your Role

As a Healthcare Customer Service Representative, you will:

  • Handle voice, email, or chat inquiries regarding insurance eligibility and benefits.
  • Troubleshoot billing discrepancies and claim denials using multiple database systems.
  • Document all interactions accurately within CRM tools to ensure first-call resolution.
  • Assist with appointment scheduling and locating in-network medical providers.
  • Adhere to HIPAA and Quality Assurance protocols to protect sensitive patient data.

What You Need

Non-negotiables

  • Neutral accent with the ability to explain complex medical terms clearly.
  • Ability to remain calm and supportive when assisting callers in distress.
  • Proficiency in navigating dual-monitor setups and various software simultaneously.
  • At least 2 years of college or SHS graduate with relevant work history.

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Degree or coursework in Nursing, Pharmacy, or other Allied Health fields.
  • 6+ months handling HMO, PPO, or Medicare accounts.
  • Basic familiarity with ICD-10, CPT codes, or medical billing cycles.
