Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused
BSC Healthcare Representative to join our team. In this role, you will provide administrative and customer support to healthcare providers, members, and internal teams. You will handle inquiries, process healthcare-related transactions, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with company policies and healthcare regulations while delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound healthcare-related inquiries from members, providers, and clients.
- Process healthcare claims, authorizations, referrals, and eligibility verification.
- Update and maintain accurate customer and patient records in company systems.
- Assist customers with benefits, billing, coverage, and account-related concerns.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and internal departments to resolve customer issues.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other applicable healthcare regulations.
- Meet quality, productivity, and service level performance metrics.
- Document all customer interactions accurately and professionally.
- Escalate complex cases to the appropriate department when necessary.
- Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
Qualifications
- College graduates are an advantage.
- BPO or healthcare customer service experience is preferred but not required for entry-level positions.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and active listening skills.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate multiple systems.
- Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays.
- Amenable to working onsite or in a hybrid setup, depending on business requirements.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in healthcare accounts, medical billing, insurance, or claims processing.
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and healthcare terminology.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
