Job Description:
Responsible for the strategic and over-all implementation of the Integrated Health, Safety and Environment Management System (IHSE-MS) across the managed sites. Core responsibilities include overseeing compliance to local regulations and TP Group requirements through accident and incident investigations, conduct of regular audits and inspections, review of implemented corrective actions, provide guidance to Site Directors, HSE Committee and other support and/or operations functions, act as the point person to government agencies during inspections, develop and maintain a disaster contingency plan and provide government-required trainings. She/He also ensures to sustain and maintain the ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 certifications.
1. Promote Occupational Health and Safety, and Environment-friendly culture within the organization
2. Investigate safety accidents and environmental incidents
3. Conduct HSE inspections
4. Maintain Accident Incident Nearmiss record system
5. Provide assistance to government agencies in the conduct of HSE Inspection, Accident prevention/investigation, or any other related programs
6. Acts as the Secretary of the HSE Committee of the home site
7. Train the members of the HSE Committee
8. Provides necessary assistance to government inspecting authorities
9. Develops and maintains a disaster contingency
10. Establishes and adopts in writing administrative policies on HSE
11. Reports to the enforcing authority the policies adopted and required report requirements
12. Acts on the recommended measures of the HSE Committee and in-case of non-adoption, informs the committee of the reason
13. Submit reports to DOLE on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
14. Responsible for site audits and compliance (local and Global) with statutory requirements (including clients)
15. Responsible for safety related site refresher training and roll-out of new safety programs/compliance
16. Act as the SME for all safety and health-related matters
17. Act as the Safety and Health SME for the subsidiary and responsible for TP Group compliance
Required Skills:
· Preferably DOLE-Accredited Health and Safety Practitioner
· Must be at least Safety Officer 3
· BPO experience is an advantage
· Experience working in PEZA-registered entities
· Network with DOLE, BWC, BFP, DENR, OSHA
