Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilledHead Pastry Chefto lead and enhance our pastry operations within a food manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for overseeing daily production, creating innovative recipes, and ensuring all products consistently meet the highest standards of taste, quality, presentation, and consistency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of pastry chefs and assistants, fostering a culture of creativity, precision, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee all aspects of pastry, cake, and macaron productionfrom ingredient preparation to baking, finishing, and decorationensuring accuracy, consistency, and top-tier quality.
- Develop, test, and standardize recipes for pastries, cakes, and macarons while introducing innovative desserts aligned with brand identity and commissary efficiency.
- Implement and uphold strict food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor inventory, manage production schedules, and coordinate with other departments to meet commissary and store demand.
- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure smooth, efficient operations even under high-volume conditions.
- Maintain consistency in output while promoting artistry, innovation, and premium quality across all pastry products.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Head Pastry Chef or senior pastry professional in a commissary,food manufacturing, or large-scale bakery setup.
- Expertise in pastry arts, cakes, and macarons, with advanced knowledge of modern and traditional pastry techniques.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills, with the ability to inspire, train, and develop a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle large-scale pastry production.
- Keen attention to detail, creativity in recipe and product development, and a commitment to delivering premium-quality results.
- Proficiency in commissary operations, workflow optimization, and production efficiency.
