DUTIES & RESPONSABILITIES

Purpose of the job

This role is a critical leadership position within APAC, created to strengthen execution discipline, improve EBITDA performance, and accelerate value creation across the region.

As the organization transitions from a high-growth phase to a more mature and competitive environment, this function will act as a central performance engine, ensuring that key business levers (pricing, demand, operations, and customer support) are managed with consistency, discipline, and a strong bottom-line focus.

Beyond operational oversight, the role will be responsible for identifying, structuring, and delivering cross-functional value creation initiatives, with direct impact on margin and overall business performance.

The Head of Business Excellence & Value Creation APAC will centralize and lead several critical regional functions:

  • Pricing (regional ownership)
  • Sales Excellence tools and performance infrastructure (Salesforce, Power BI, reporting)
  • Demand planning (S&OP / forecasting) across APAC and India
  • Customer support / customer service functions (regional coordination)

These areas are currently managed in a fragmented way and will be consolidated under a single leadership to ensure stronger accountability and performance management.

Main responsibilities

Drive EBITDA and Value Creation Initiatives

  • Identify, prioritize, and execute initiatives with direct EBITDA impact
  • Lead cross-functional programs such as:
  • Industrial footprint optimization (e.g. production shifts across geographies)
  • Cost efficiency and service center optimization
  • Pricing discipline and margin improvement initiatives
  • Ensure strong execution discipline, clear milestones, and measurable outcomes
  • Act as the owner of regional value creation roadmap

This is a core expectation of the role: turn identified initiatives into delivered results

Own Pricing Strategy and Margin Discipline

  • Define and implement pricing governance across the region
  • Ensure consistency between pricing, demand, and commercial strategy
  • Support Sales teams with structured pricing frameworks and tools
  • Drive margin improvement through better pricing discipline and governance

Lead Demand Planning and Performance Visibility

  • Own S&OP and forecasting processes across APAC and India
  • Improve forecast accuracy and alignment with commercial pipelines
  • Ensure integration between pricing, pipeline, and demand planning
  • Build and maintain performance dashboards for decision-making

Drive Business Excellence and Process Standardization

  • Standardize key business processes across markets
  • Improve efficiency of sales and operational workflows
  • Reduce manual work and improve scalability of the organization
  • Play a key role in the regional governance including SVP APAC support for Budget, 3Yplanning, Sales plan definition and validation, country deep dive etc

Lead Customer Support Transformation

  • Consolidate and manage customer support functions across the region
  • Improve service quality, responsiveness, and customer experience
  • Increase visibility on delivery and operational performance
  • Align support model with overall business objectives

Build and Scale an Inside Sales Hub

  • Design and launch an inside sales hub in APAC to improve our coverage of smaller and/or fragmented accounts
  • Develop a scalable model that can be replicated across the organization

REQUIREMENTS

Experience & background

  • 10+ years of experience in Business Operations, Strategy, Consulting, or Transformation roles within complex, international environments
  • Demonstrated experience in value creation, EBITDA improvement, and performance transformation, ideally in a high-growth or PE-like environment
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives at scale, with clear, measurable business impact
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders across multiple geographies
  • Exposure to payments, fintech, SaaS, or complex B2B environments is a plus.

Education

Master's degree in Business and/or Engineering related course.

Languages

Fluent English (other Asian languages considered a plus)

Technical skills

  • Strong financial acumen, with the ability to operate both at a detailed level (cost drivers, margin levers, pricing) and at a strategic level
  • Ability to combine data-driven rigor with an 80/20, consulting-style approach, focusing on high-impact initiatives and pragmatic execution
  • Ability to translate strategy into clear, executable plans, with strong focus on delivery
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Experience building and leveraging performance tracking tools and dashboards (e.g. Salesforce, Power BI or AI tools)
  • Structured thinker and communicator, able to simplify complex topics and drive clear decisions
