Head of Underwriting (Non-Life)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the underwriting function and team
• Develop and implement underwriting strategies, policies, and guidelines
• Ensure profitability and portfolio quality while managing risk exposure
• Oversee underwriting operations, compliance, and process improvements
• Collaborate closely with business development, claims, actuarial, and senior management teams

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in non-life insurance underwriting
• Strong leadership and people management background
• In-depth knowledge of underwriting principles, risk assessment, and insurance regulations
• Proven track record in portfolio management and business growth
• Must have an active non-life insurance license covering Bonds, Marine, Property, and Casualty lines
• Excellent stakeholder management and decision-making skills
