Requirement description
A leading professional services organisation is seeking an experienced Head of Talent to build and manage a strategic, always-on talent pipeline across priority professional verticals and markets.
This is a hybrid Talent Marketing and Talent Acquisition leadership role, combining employer brand, campaign strategy, demand generation, candidate nurturing, and talent pipeline management. The role will own the candidate database as a strategic asset, ensuring a growing pool of qualified and engaged professionals is available to support future hiring needs.
The successful consultant will bring a strong understanding of marketing and talent acquisition, with the ability to design and optimise multi-channel campaigns, use data to improve conversion and efficiency, and lead a sizeable recruitment marketing and sourcing team. The role requires a proactive, globally minded leader who is focused on continuously improving results rather than relying on reactive, role-by-role recruitment.
Key Activities
Strategy & Talent Marketing
- Develop and execute a strategic approach to building and continuously growing a qualified talent database across priority verticals and regions.
- Own and consistently communicate the organisation's Employer Value Proposition (EVP) across candidate touchpoints, including job advertisements, careers platforms, social media, and campaign creative.
- Own the talent marketing budget and channel mix across paid social, job boards, programmatic advertising, search, and other relevant channels.
- Allocate marketing investment across verticals and regions based on performance metrics such as cost per qualified registration.
- Own the candidate-facing careers experience and the marketing automation / CRM tools supporting candidate engagement and nurture journeys.
- Use data and market insights to identify opportunities to improve candidate attraction, engagement, and conversion.
Talent Pipeline & Campaign Management
- Build forward-looking talent pipelines aligned to anticipated hiring demand and priority professional skill areas.
- Design, build, and continuously optimise always-on and time-bound candidate nurturing campaigns.
- Develop targeted strategies to attract and engage professional talent within priority verticals, such as accounting, HR, IT, and other specialist functions.
- Segment campaigns by vertical, geography, and candidate profile to ensure resources are focused on the highest-priority talent pools.
- Develop creative campaigns and initiatives to build awareness and engagement within targeted professional communities.
- Lead incentive-based candidate campaigns, working with relevant stakeholders to ensure all candidate-facing offers and commitments are commercially and operationally deliverable.
- Build relationships with relevant professional associations, communities, and external networks to expand targeted talent pipelines.
Leadership
- Lead, coach, and performance-manage a recruitment marketing and sourcing team of approximately 20 FTE.
- Set team priorities and targets based on business hiring requirements and pipeline performance.
- Drive continuous improvement in team performance, campaign execution, and sourcing effectiveness.
- Ensure the team operates with clear accountability for both individual and overall pipeline outcomes.
- Work cross-functionally with stakeholders across areas such as Sales, Finance, Legal, and HR to ensure campaigns and talent initiatives are aligned and deliverable.
