Head of Supply Chain

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end supply chain function, covering inventory control, warehousing, transportation, and distribution while working closely with procurement and manufacturing stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers, logistics service providers, and other key external partners.
• Track and optimize supply chain expenditures, driving efficiencies and productivity improvements where possible.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant legal, regulatory, customs, trade, and environmental standards.
• Drive sustainability initiatives across the supply chain through waste reduction, responsible resource management, and environmentally conscious practices.
• Provide leadership and direction to a high-performing supply chain organization.
• Promote a culture focused on innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
• Postgraduate qualifications such as an MBA or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a relevant discipline are an advantage.
• At least 10 years of progressive leadership experience in supply chain management, preferably within multinational organizations or highly complex business environments, and proven track record of building, leading, and developing successful supply chain teams.
• Hands-on experience utilizing supply chain technologies, planning systems, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Solid knowledge of supply chain principles, operational best practices, market conditions, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Broad understanding of global supply chain developments, emerging technologies, and industry trends.
• Experience managing business transformation, organizational change, and process improvement initiatives is strongly preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), manufacturing, consumer products, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or similarly complex supply chain environments.
• Background managing large-scale supply chain operations with responsibility for service, cost, inventory, and operational performance metrics.
