Job Description

Our client is a well-established organisation with a shared services environment supporting multiple business units and stakeholders.

Lead and manage the overall finance shared services operations, ensuring service delivery excellence.
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, general accounting, fixed assets, and financial reporting activities.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators, service level agreements, and operational targets.
Drive process improvement, standardisation, automation, and finance transformation initiatives.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal control frameworks.
Partner with business leaders and key stakeholders to provide financial insights and operational support.
Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
Lead, coach, and develop finance teams while fostering a high-performance culture.
Oversee audit activities and coordinate with internal and external auditors.
Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies to strengthen financial governance.

Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline.
Professional accounting qualification is preferred.
Significant experience leading finance shared services, finance operations, or business process outsourcing functions.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting processes, compliance, and internal controls.
Experience managing large teams and multiple finance workstreams.
Proven track record in process improvement, transformation, and change management.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to lead in a fast-paced, multi-entity, or regional environment.
Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
Proficiency in enterprise finance systems and reporting tools.
