The Head of Setup & Operations is responsible for leading and managing the entire operational landscape of the company's EV charging network across the Philippines. This role oversees nationwide operations covering Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao to ensure network reliability, efficiency, safety, and an exceptional customer and partner experience. The Director will manage a team of 6–8 regional and functional managers, ensuring consistent execution of operational standards and supporting the rapid scaling of the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations Leadership
- Oversee all Philippine operations related to EV charging network setup, deployment, and ongoing performance.
- Lead and manage 6–8 managers across regional operations, technical services, maintenance, and partner coordination.
- Establish operational KPIs, performance metrics, and quality standards for all regions.
- Ensure smooth and efficient day‑to‑day operations across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
Deployment & Setup Oversight
- Manage the handover, commissioning, and operational setup of EV charging stations with partners and internal teams.
- Ensure sites meet technical, safety, and infrastructure requirements before launch.
Technical Operations & Maintenance
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance to maximize charger uptime and reliability.
- Troubleshoot escalated technical issues and ensure timely repair of EV chargers.
- Maintain inventory control for equipment, spare parts, and critical components.
People & Partner Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop managers and regional teams to ensure high productivity and consistent performance.
- Supervise third‑party contractors and enforce compliance with service agreements and safety protocols.
- Train and guide partners to support seamless day‑to‑day operations.
Cross‑Functional & Stakeholder Coordination
- Collaborate with engineering, product, customer service, and business development teams to support operational initiatives.
- Ensure proper coordination with property developers, government stakeholders, and utility partners during deployment and operations.
Data‑Driven Operations Management
- Analyze performance data to track network utilization, reliability trends, and operational risks.
- Prepare comprehensive reports for senior leadership covering performance, insights, and recommendations.
- Drive continuous improvement through operational optimization initiatives.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics Communications Engineering (ECE), Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 10+ years of experience in operations, technical services, maintenance, or related roles within the EV, renewable energy, oil & gas, automotive, or power electronics industries.
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing multi‑regional operations or large technical teams.
- Strong understanding of EV charging systems, electrical infrastructure, battery technologies, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
- Proven leadership abilities, including managing teams of 6–8 managers or equivalent.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and decision‑making skills.
- Able to work in a fast‑paced, scaling environment.
