Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Head of Search to lead and optimize the company's SEO function, including Technical SEO, Local SEO, Google Business Profile (GBP) Optimization, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), AI Search, Search Atlas, and AI-driven workflow automation. This is a strategic, hands-on leadership role responsible for driving search performance, leading the SEO team, improving processes, implementing AI solutions, and delivering measurable client results.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the SEO, AEO, and Local SEO function, including team management, process improvement, and quality assurance.
• Develop and execute SEO strategies for automotive dealerships and multi-location businesses.
• Oversee technical SEO, content strategy, keyword research, Local SEO, and Google Business Profile optimization.
• Manage Search Atlas implementation, reporting, and workflow optimization.
• Design and implement AI agents and automation to improve SEO efficiency and scalability.
• Develop SOPs, dashboards, KPIs, and reporting while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  
  

Qualifications

• 10+ years of SEO experience with proven leadership of an SEO team or department.
• Strong expertise in Technical SEO, Local SEO, Content Strategy, GBP Optimization, Analytics, and enterprise SEO platforms such as Search Atlas.
• Hands-on experience developing AI agents using tools such as OpenAI/ChatGPT APIs, Claude, Gemini, Python, JavaScript, LangChain, n8n, or similar technologies.
• Excellent analytical, communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Automotive, agency, or multi-location business experience is highly preferred.
