About the Role

A leading digital business travel management company – powered by one of the world's largest travel groups – is on a mission to become the #1 TMC in Southeast Asia by 2027. We are seeking a high-calibre, bilingual leader to join as Head of Regional Sales, SEA.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will lead a team of Business Development professionals to drive explosive growth across SEA i.e Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, and Vietnam. This is not just a sales role – it is a strategic leadership position designed for a builder who can navigate complex regional nuances and a transitioning industry.

  • Drive Growth: Lead organic expansion, new account acquisition, and C2G diversification across SEA.
  • Lead Innovation: Challenge the status quo of a traditional TMC industry. As the company transitions into a Global TMC player, you will drive productivity, educate the market, and successfully pitch our digital and full service USP.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Ownership: Serve as the primary executive contact for regional clients, overseeing complex relationships alongside cross-functional teams.
  • Strategy & Execution: Identify BD opportunities across SEA. Work with local agency partners and offices to devise market-specific strategies that harmonize with regional travel programs.
  • Internal Collaboration: Partner closely with Key Account Clients, CSM, Product PMO, Supply Chain (Airlines/Hotels), and Finance (Contract/Compliance).
  • Sales Leadership: Develop and execute sustainable sales strategies to meet targets set by senior leadership. Research and formulate TMC solutions that highlight the company's evolving technology stack.

The Ideal Candidate

Experience:

  • Minimum 10+ years in TMC Services, SaaS/E-commerce/Hotel Management, or Travel Tech (SAP Concur, Sabre, Amadeus).
  • Minimum 3+ years of proven team leadership experience.

Skills:

  • Mandarin Proficiency (Business-level) is Mandatory as you will communicate with targeted Chinese-speaking clients and internal teams.
  • Elite negotiation, presentation, and people management skills.
