About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Head of Retail Operations to lead and optimize retail execution across the Philippines market. This role will be responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring consistent brand execution, improving store productivity, and delivering outstanding consumer experiences across all retail touchpoints.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in retail operations management within beauty, FMCG, consumer goods, or retail industries and possesses a proven track record of managing large scale retail networks, field teams, and operational performance.

What you will do

Retail Operations Management

  • Lead end-to-end retail operations across all retail channels including department stores, beauty specialty stores, pharmacies, and modern trade accounts.
  • Develop and implement operational standards, policies, and procedures to ensure consistent execution across all locations.
  • Monitor store performance, operational efficiency, and compliance with company standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, customer experience, and operational effectiveness.

Field Team Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop retail operations teams including Retail Supervisors, Area Managers, Store Managers, Beauty Advisors, and promoters.
  • Establish clear performance expectations and KPIs for retail teams.
  • Conduct regular business reviews and performance evaluations.
  • Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, execution excellence, and customer satisfaction.

Retail Excellence & Execution

  • Ensure best-in-class visual merchandising execution aligned with brand guidelines.
  • Partner closely with Trade Marketing, Sales, and Marketing teams to execute campaigns, launches, and promotional activities.
  • Monitor in-store execution quality and ensure consistency across all retail locations.
  • Develop action plans to address operational gaps and improve retail standards.

Sales & Productivity Management

  • Analyze retail sales performance and identify opportunities to improve productivity.
  • Drive achievement of sales, sell-out, and profitability targets.
  • Monitor key retail metrics including conversion rates, average transaction value, productivity per store, and inventory efficiency.
  • Collaborate with commercial teams to maximize revenue opportunities.

Inventory & Store Operations

  • Oversee inventory management processes to ensure healthy stock levels and minimize stock shortages.
  • Monitor product availability and replenishment effectiveness across retail channels.
  • Ensure operational compliance related to inventory, cash handling, and store procedures.
  • Work closely with Supply Chain and Commercial teams to improve stock planning and distribution.

Stakeholder Management

  • Build strong relationships with retail partners and key external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Trade Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, HR, and Marketing teams.
  • Act as the primary operational leader for retail channel execution and problem resolution.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Establish dashboards and reporting mechanisms to monitor retail performance.
  • Utilize data and market insights to support business decisions.
  • Present business reviews, operational updates, and improvement plans to senior leadership.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or related field.
  • MBA is an advantage.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in retail operations, sales operations, or commercial operations.
  • At least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing multi-location retail operations.
  • Experience within beauty, cosmetics, personal care, FMCG, fashion, or consumer retail industries is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience managing large field teams and retail execution programs.

Preferred Background

Candidates from leading beauty, personal care, FMCG, consumer electronics, fashion, pharmacy, or specialty retail companies are encouraged to apply. Experience managing nationwide retail operations within the Philippines market will be highly advantageous.
