Job Description

JOB OVERVIEW:

The Head of Quality Assurance (QA) will lead the quality, food safety, and compliance strategy across Standard Hospitality Group's (SHG) rapidly expanding network of restaurants, commissaries, and supply chain operations.

This role is responsible for developing and enforcing rigorous standards across the end-to-end value chainfrom supplier accreditation and raw material inspection to store audits, sanitation, and food safety compliance. You will oversee critical control points, manage incident response protocols, and partner closely with Operations, Procurement, R&D, and Training to embed a culture of quality and safety at every level.

By driving operational consistency and risk mitigation, the QA Head plays a key role in protecting brand integrity, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering on SHG's promise of safe, high-quality, and memorable guest experiences.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Lead supplier quality assurance and accreditation systems
  2. Oversee quality control in warehousing, commissary, and production processes
  3. Implement and maintain food safety systems (HACCP, GMP, ISO standards)
  4. Conduct restaurant audits to ensure food handling, hygiene, and service compliance
  5. Manage sanitation, pest control, and risk assessment programs company-wide
  6. Collaborate with Procurement, R&D, and Operations on product development and quality validation
  7. Respond to incidents or complaints with structured investigation and action planning
  8. Drive training and continuous improvement across QA, commissary, and store teams
  9. Ensure full compliance with local and international food safety regulations
  10. Digitize QA documentation, tracking, and reporting systems

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • 10+ years in Quality Assurance or Food Safety, ideally in F&B or food manufacturing
  • 5+ years in a senior QA leadership role overseeing multi-site operations
  • Certified in HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP, or other recognized quality systems
  • Strong knowledge of audits, risk management, and regulatory compliance
  • Excellent collaboration with cross-functional teams (Operations, Procurement, Training)
  • Tech-savvy with QA systems and digital reporting tools
  • Proactive, analytical, and committed to guest safety and brand integrity
