Location: Danao City, Cebu
We are looking for a seasoned Head of Quality Assurance (Food Manufacturing) to drive excellence in food safety, product quality, and compliance across our operations. This role will oversee the development and execution of quality systems that ensure products consistently meet regulatory requirements and internal standards while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational discipline.
What You'll Do
- Oversee the full quality and food safety system from design to continuous improvement.
- Implement and standardize quality practices across all sites.
- Conduct regular audits and analyze performance results.
- Ensure compliance with government and industry regulations.
- Prepare and present reports on risks, trends, and improvements.
- Evaluate suppliers and partners for quality and safety adherence.
- Improve systems, tools, and processes to enhance efficiency.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives for quality and process improvements.
- Develop and manage the quality team through coaching and planning.
- Promote a culture of quality in daily operations and decision-making.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Must hold an active professional license (Chemist, Chemical Engineer, or Chemical Technician).
- Minimum of 8 years experience in quality assurance, food manufacturing, R&D, or related functions.
- At least 5 years of people leadership experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Strong expertise in food science, including analytical testing, microbiology, and production processes.
- Experience implementing and managing quality systems such as HACCP, ISO standards, and statistical process controls (SPC).
- Working knowledge of industry practices such as GMP, GLP, and GWP.
- Excellent stakeholder management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Open to candidates based in or willing to be assigned near Danao City, Cebu.
