About the Role
Lead the project managers team. Reports hierarchically to the local Country Manager and transversally to the Regional Project Execution Director.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the local project management team
- Customer management
- Lead technical communication with the customer during execution and sometimes during pre-sales
- EPC management - Manage EPC tendering, BOM review, contractor selection, and due diligence
- O & M management
- Optimize designs with the Design Center based on site conditions
- Anticipate risks and ensure insurance, permits, licenses and approvals are in place on time
- Maintain project data in company tools and drive CAPEX and performance optimization
- Contribute actively to the regional PM team and to the country team
Qualifications
- Engineering degree is a must (mechanical or electrical), preferably a master in energy or related field
- Min. 10 years of experience in rooftop solar projects execution and solar engineering
- Proven track record of project lifecycle management from EPC tendering to the start of operations
- Leadership experience in managing a diverse team
- Ability to handle complex situations and work under pressure
- Ability and willingness to travel as assigned
- Knowledge of solar specific software (Helioscope, Meteonorm, PVSyst) is highly desirable
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills in English and the local language
