Title: Head of Product Delivery and Operations

About the Role

This role leads and develops a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team based in Vietnam, supporting technology transformation, data governance, product compliance, and change delivery across the Bank's Financial Crime Transformation function.

You will be responsible for fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence, ensuring Financial Crime platforms are stable, compliant, and capable of delivering incremental change effectively.

As the senior leader for the Vietnam function, you will act as a key bridge between offshore delivery teams and Australia-based product and domain stakeholders, ensuring scalable, high-quality, and reliable delivery across five functional chapters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop five core chapters: Data Risk Management, Business Analysis, Product, PMO, and Product Monitoring, setting clear expectations and driving a culture of quality and continuous improvement
  • Oversee the end-to-end management of data quality incidents, including triage, impact assessment, communication, escalation, and resolution
  • Ensure Financial Crime products remain aligned with regulatory requirements, design standards, and operational expectations
  • Partner with Australia- and India-based product teams to plan, test, and deliver high-quality incremental change
  • Ensure the Business Analysis function delivers structured requirements, high-quality user stories, and appropriate test coverage
  • Monitor product performance and AI model health, translating data into meaningful insights and risk indicators
  • Represent the Vietnam function in governance forums and performance reviews, providing transparent reporting on delivery outcomes and service levels
  • Collaborate with product, risk, and operations leaders to align priorities with broader transformation objectives

Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years experience in financial services, technology delivery, transformation, or risk management
  • Proven experience in data governance, data quality, or data controls
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams in delivery or operational environments
  • Experience in product management, business analysis, or change delivery within regulated industries
  • Strong understanding of Financial Crime domains (AML/CTF, Sanctions) preferred
  • Exposure to AI/ML monitoring or advanced analytics is advantageous
  • Experience leading offshore or distributed teams is highly desirable
  • Degree in Business, Technology, or a related discipline
