Mission
- Establish the production architecture, repository, data model, and release process.
- Harden the three highest-value client workflows.
- Improve security, reliability, integrations, testing, recovery, and capacity.
- Simplify and consolidate duplicated systems.
- Own production operations, releases, incidents, migrations, and disaster recovery.
- Control provider usage, costs, retries, and system performance.
- Manage AI-assisted development with strong engineering standards.
- Translate requirements into clear acceptance criteria.
- Assess 1,000-client capacity and unit economics.
- Build a roadmap separating platform hardening from new features.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of production software engineering experience.
- Senior, Staff, or Principal-level ownership.
- Experience shipping and operating multi-tenant B2B SaaS.
- Strong TypeScript, Next.js, Python, FastAPI, Postgres, SQL, and RLS skills.
- Deep knowledge of security, tenant isolation, and architecture.
- Strong distributed systems and queue-management experience.
- Experience with provider quotas, throttling, failures, and cost controls.
- Production experience with migrations, observability, incidents, rollback, and disaster recovery.
- Hands-on testing experience across load, soak, integration, and E2E.
- Effective use of AI coding agents.
- Willingness to simplify systems and eliminate unnecessary duplication.
