Job Description
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of pharmacists and support stakeholders.
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations, capacity planning, inventory management, and workflow optimisation.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant FDA, pharmacy, and workplace safety regulations.
- Maintain quality systems, aseptic processing standards, and protocols.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve SOPs, quality controls, and operational processes.
- Drive operational efficiency through data analysis, process improvements, and performance monitoring.
- Manage operational budgets, resource planning, and vendor relationships.
- Serve as the primary contact for regulatory inspections and compliance matters.
- Partner with leadership, product, and clinical teams to support scale-up and new product initiatives.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (BSP) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
- Active PRC Pharmacist License in good standing.
- Minimum 6 years of pharmacy experience, including at least 4 years in pharmacy operations leadership.
- Strong knowledge of FDA regulations, pharmaceutical quality systems, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience managing pharmacy teams, SOPs, quality assurance programmes, and operational performance metrics.
- Proven ability to scale operations while maintaining quality, safety, and compliance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Exposure to managing the end to end development of brick and mortar pharmacies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience with FDA inspections and regulatory audits.
- Lean Six Sigma, BCPS, MBA, or related advanced certifications.
- Experience building and scaling operations in a startup or high-growth environment.
