Co-Founder / Head of Operations WedTech
Location: Manila, Philippines (On-site/Hybrid)
The Vision: We are building the definitive three-sided marketplace for the $1B+ Philippine wedding industry. Our platform bridges the gap between Couples, Vendors, and Independent Wedding Coordinators through a high-touch, AI-augmented ecosystem.
We have a locked-in roadmap, a world-class technical team (including SG-based architecture and Manila-based engineering), and secured, structured 7-figure USD funding that triggers upon the delivery of our MVP.
The Role: We aren't looking for an employee; we're looking for a partner. As our Head of Operations, you will own the ground game in the Philippines. You are the architect of our vendor ecosystem and the engine behind our Q2 Beta.
What you'll do:
- Vendor Ecosystem: Source and integrate 15+ key vendors per category (Venues, Florists, Caterers, etc.) into our platform.
- The Ghost Engine: Manage the manual ghost messaging layer during our Q2 Beta to ensure a 5-star experience for our first 30 coordinators while our tech team gathers data for AI automation.
- Strategic Partnerships: Negotiate exclusive rates and SLAs with the Philippines top wedding professionals to create a moat around our marketplace.
- Scalable Ops: Build the operational playbook to scale from 30 coordinators in Q2 to 100+ in Year 2.
Who you are:
- The Insider: You have 7+ years of experience in the PH luxury hospitality, events, or marketplace sectors (ex-Hotel Management, Grab, or Zalora Ops is a plus).
- The Hustler: You're comfortable with the chaos of early-stage startups and can move from a high-level strategy meeting to a vendor site visit in the same afternoon.
- The Partner: You value long-term equity over a short-term paycheck. You want to be a defining part of a startup that transforms how an entire industry operates.
The Compensation (Equity-Only until Funding):
- Co-Founder Equity: 6% 8% (Subject to a 1-year cliff and 4-year vesting schedule).
- Path to C-Suite: Transition to a market-rate USD salary + performance bonuses immediately upon the triggering of our 7-figure seed tranche.
- Influence: A seat at the table to shape the culture and direction of the company from Day 1.
