About the Role
We are seeking a driven and hands-on Manager to grow our Used Cooking Oil (UCO) collection network in the Philippines. The role focuses on supplier acquisition, daily operations management, and expanding collection volumes across key regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Acquire new UCO suppliers (F&B outlets, hotels, factories, hawker centers, waste collectors).
- Build strong long-term supplier relationships and negotiate pricing/contracts.
- Manage daily UCO collection operations, routing, drivers, and warehouse coordination.
- Ensure proper UCO handling, quality control, and EHS compliance.
- Track daily/weekly/monthly collection volumes and optimize routes for efficiency.
- Lead and train a small field operations team.
- Prepare regular performance and operational reports.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers, buyers, and government agencies.
Requirements
- Experience in operations, business development, or supply chainpreferably in waste management, recycling, logistics, or F&B.
- Strong negotiation and people-management skills.
- Hands-on and able to manage field activities.
- Analytical, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Valid driving licence preferred.
- Knowledge of the Philippines UCO/waste management landscape and permit requirements is a strong advantage.
