This role oversees the end‑to‑end development cycle—from site identification and acquisition to feasibility assessment, permitting, commercial negotiation, and handover for installation. The Director manages Philippine operations, guiding 6–8 regional and functional managers across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. This senior leadership role requires strong commercial insight, technical understanding, and the ability to build high‑level partnerships to accelerate the company's EV network growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

National Network Expansion & Strategy

  • Lead the development and execution of the national EV network expansion strategy, ensuring optimal coverage in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
  • Manage 6–8 managers responsible for regional network development, site acquisition, permitting, and commercial partnerships.
  • Define expansion priorities using market data, traffic analysis, EV adoption trends, and strategic partnerships.
  • Ensure all network development activities align with long‑term company growth targets.

End‑to‑End Site Acquisition & Permitting

  • Oversee the entire site acquisition lifecycle, including site sourcing, negotiations, contracting, and documentation.
  • Direct and review feasibility studies, power availability assessments, and commercial viability analyses.
  • Ensure timely processing of all permits (LGU permits, electrical, building, zoning, utility interconnection, etc.).
  • Build strong relationships with local governments, utilities, property owners, and regulatory bodies.

Commercial & Partnership Development

  • Identify and secure high-value locations with commercial real estate groups, malls, gas stations, logistics hubs, industrial areas, and government partners.
  • Lead negotiations with landlords, developers, and strategic partners to secure favorable commercial terms.
  • Maintain ongoing relationships to support long-term network sustainability and expansion.

Technical & Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, installation, legal, and regulatory teams to ensure a smooth transition from acquisition to deployment.
  • Provide technical understanding of EV charging technologies, power requirements, and installation considerations.
  • Ensure accurate handover packages for installation and commissioning teams.

Market Intelligence & Business Insights

  • Monitor EV infrastructure trends, regulatory updates, and competitor network expansion activities.
  • Use market insights to refine expansion strategy and identify high-priority areas for new deployments.
  • Present executive reports covering pipeline progress, network development achievements, and strategic recommendations.

Team Leadership & Operations Management

  • Train, mentor, and develop regional managers to ensure consistent performance across all Philippine regions.
  • Establish KPIs, performance metrics, and workflows to drive operational excellence.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • 10+ years of experience in network development, site acquisition, technical sales, business development, or infrastructure-related roles.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience, managing nationwide or multi-regional teams, including 6–8 direct managerial reports.
  • Strong understanding of EV charging systems, electrical infrastructure, permitting requirements, and industry standards.
  • Proven track record in managing end‑to‑end acquisition and permitting for infrastructure or real estate projects.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with high-level stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, commercial, and strategic planning abilities.
