Job Description

Define and execute the endtoend strategy for the Micro/EarlyStage SME segment
Build and scale a digitally enabled lending operation leveraging automation and data
Own portfolio performance across growth, yield, credit quality, and profitability
Partner closely with credit, risk, tech, and operations to optimise underwriting and servicing
Develop datadriven frameworks using transactional and behavioural insights
Build, lead, and inspire a highperforming, entrepreneurial leadership team
Structure and scale ecosystem partnerships (ewallets, POS, platforms, super apps)

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Microfinancing will demonstrate a strong blend of commercial leadership, financial expertise, and execution discipline, including:

Extensive experience within financial services, with strong exposure to microfinance, SME lending, or adjacent segments
Demonstrated success in leading, building, and managing highperforming commercial or lending teams
Strong analytical capability with the ability to translate data into actionable strategy and performance outcomes
Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks, governance, and compliance requirements in the Philippines
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and relationshipbuilding skills
A resultsoriented mindset, balancing growth ambition with disciplined execution and risk awareness
10-15+ years experience in SME lending, fintech, or digital banking with proven scaleup success
