The Head of Marketing Operations will lead a newly established team overseeing digital marketing operations, shopfront execution, CRM workflows, and service delivery quality-playing a pivotal role in customer growth, retention, and revenue performance while securing a long-term career with Emapta.

The Qualifications We Seek

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Operations, Technology, Commerce or related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 3 to 5 years experience in subscription, e-commerce, telco, media or similar environments, with at least 2-3 years leading operational teams or managers
  • Demonstrated experience working with shopfront / CMS platforms, CRM/CEP, billing and support tools in an end-to-end subscription or customer lifecycle context
  • Prior experience leading or supporting offshore or distributed teams is highly desirable

Your Daily Tasks

  • Lead day-to-day operations across multiple workstreams, managing workflows, queues, SLAs, incident reviews, hypercare activities, and operational priorities with clear ownership and accountability
  • Maintain and improve service performance, quality, and operational risk controls through structured QA, root-cause analysis, risk registers, and continuous process refinement
  • Oversee the change pipeline for campaigns, pricing, product updates, and customer communications, ensuring accurate execution, proper sequencing, capacity planning, and alignment with operational standards
  • Manage incident response and escalation processes end-to-end, from triage and resolution through stakeholder communication, post-incident review, and preventive action planning
  • Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Technology, Data, Finance, and commercial teams to improve workflows, strengthen execution, and support business priorities
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and team development, embedding consistent operating frameworks, accountability, continuous improvement, and high-performance ways of working
  • Use operational dashboards, reporting, and performance metrics to monitor SLA adherence, reduce errors, improve execution quality, strengthen customer outcomes, and increase stakeholder confidence in operational delivery
