Role Summary:

Responsible and accountable for core operational tax processing and APAC Tax Client Servicing within the Global Tax Capability in Manila, including receipt and logging of tax documentation for onward processing; timely and accurate withholding tax rate setting for NT Tax Service clients; client documentation request, processing and submission to NT's sub custodian network and foreign tax authorities; withholding tax reclaim applications to NT's sub custodian Network and, where applicable, foreign tax authorities.

• Effectively managing and organizing the resource within the broader team to meet the above goals within agreed KRI's / KPI's, with a particular focus on the key areas of risk for the Bank
• Working with the Tax Practice Lead to ensure the group is effectively resourced to meet its goals – timely escalation using an evidenced
• based approached informed by metrics where this is not the case
• Ensuring effective talent development and succession planning is in place across the wider group and its sub teams
• Engagement with Tax Practice partners across regions to ensure coordinated support structure to deliver for the Business and clients

• Significant Tax Operations experience to include withholding tax, tax relief, reclaims processing;
• A demonstrated depth of understanding of the foreign tax withholding benefits product and the custodian's role within this
